  • Customer Profile

    Jollibee Group, founded by Filipino-Chinese Chen Juezhong in 1975, is now the largest restaurant chain group in the Philippines, with Jollibee, Chaoqun, Greenwich, German-Italian-Francophone and other brands, with more than 6,000 restaurants in more than 10 countries, surpassing the number of McDonald's. The company has acquired Chinese fast food brands such as Yonghe Dawang, Hongzongyuan, Sanpin Wang, Shi Erwang, and Taiwan's Jikxia Milk Tea. Its acquired Chinese fast food brands include Yonghe King, Hongqiao Yuan, Sanpin Wang, Shi Erwang, etc., as well as Taiwan's Junkie Summer Milk Tea; in 2004, Happy Bee acquired an 85% stake in Yonghe King for US$22.5 million, and further acquired the remaining 15% stake in 2009 for US$6 million, costing a total of US$28.5 million, which is equivalent to approximately RMB190 million . This move not only highlights Happy Bee's deep recognition of the Yonghe King brand, but also injects a new vitality into the Chinese fast food market.

  • Informatics Challenges

    In 2009, Happy Bee Catering Group acquired the Yonghe King brand, and urgently needed a group ERP management platform to quickly integrate the business and financial needs of many shops in China and China's neighbouring countries (Vietnam), as well as to meet the local needs of local tax and finance, so as to achieve group control and integrated management of business and finance, and at the same time, to lay a good foundation for rapid expansion.

  • Solutions

    1.Real-time visibility optimises decisions on execution, procurement and business expansion;

    2.Multi-language support allows Chinese and Vietnamese companies to switch between English and Chinese environments on demand, while Jollibee HQ managers can view information about Chinese companies and shops in an English environment;

    3.Effective cost management platform allows Jollibee to expand its business within budget;

    4.Real-time financial statements by shop can easily respond to the financial requirements of the local business bureau;

    5.Online supply chain, multiple negotiation, contracting and payment modes with suppliers substantially reduce the overall operating costs of the Group, and the purchase order completion time is reduced from three days to one day, while greatly facilitating the financial accounting among subsidiaries;

    6.Multidimensional big data analysis allows management to perceive market changes and trends in real time;

    7.Phase I project: 265 shops online in China and 10 shops in Vietnam.
