Informatisation Challenges
1. Rapid overseas business expansion, but no ERP management platform;
2. Stores have POS systems, offline there are vending robots, and e-commerce has an OMS system; operations are fragmented, with no unified core system;
3. Overseas distributor sales account for a large proportion, but there is no DMS or similar system, and interactions with distributors mainly rely on email, which greatly reduces the efficiency of business expansion and distributor stickiness;
4. Overseas supply chain and distributors’ inventory allocation requirements;
5. Overseas localized financial requirements; -
Solutions
1. Used NetSuite to initially build an overseas omnichannel operating platform covering B2B, B2C, and both online and offline channels;
2. Leveraged the NetSuite E-Commerce module to build a full DMS portal for 52TOYS, seamlessly integrated with NetSuite back-end business and financial data: distributor structures of each subsidiary, login permissions, customer-specific pricing, available-to-promise inventory inquiry, personalized logistics/shipment information, packaging specification conversion, product certificate management, dynamic values for RRP/discount rate/launch date/authorization expiry date, etc., enabling systematic and efficient business-finance collaboration with distributors;
3. The DMS not only enabled business-finance collaboration with distributors, but also added brand-promotion value for 52TOYS;
4. Customized expansion of distributor inventory allocation functions: a multi-level inventory allocation and reservation framework from the Hong Kong central warehouse -> KA / legal entities -> regional sales managers -> local KA distributors, plus a complete process for subsequent inventory release and reallocation;
5. Collaboration across overseas subsystems: integration and coordination with the Haiding POS system for stores, the Mabang OMS system, and offline Huayi vending robots;
6. Initial overseas replenishment models across channels, with inventory and stock-reservation synchronization to the domestic headquarters’ Kingdee system;
7. Overseas localized financial requirements: IP management, and inventory-group weighted-average costing across each overseas subsidiary’s channels, warehouses, and stores; -
Customer Benefits
1. Through the successful go-live of the first two phases, we built a complete overseas integrated business and finance operations platform for 52TOYS;
2. Leveraging the NetSuite E-Commerce module and Hitpoint’s industry expertise, we built a complete systematic distributor business-finance platform for 52TOYS, fully moving away from the email-based model and laying a solid foundation for expanding distributors in other countries and regions;
3. We initially enabled integration and efficient collaboration across overseas omnichannel (online and offline) subsystems, establishing a strong framework and backbone for later refined operations across platforms and the development of tailored replenishment models;
4. NetSuite’s global capabilities and tax-and-finance compliance strengths safeguard 52TOYS’ long-term global expansion and financial compliance;
