  • Customer Profile

    Founded in 2002, Zhejiang YAT designs, manufactures, and sells garden, power, and smart tools. Driven by innovation and green tech (Li-ion, low-emission engines, recycling), YAT has 283 R&D staff and 1,000+ patents. It serves ~100 overseas customers and 1,000+ China retail partners. Certified GS/CE/EMC/CSA/UL; compliant with EPA I, EURO V, RoHS, REACH, WEEE. TÜV Rheinland issued China’s first e-chainsaw certificate; annual e-chainsaw sales exceed 1.5M.

  • Informatics Challenges

    1. The domestic group uses locally deployed software that cannot be applied overseas, creating the need for a global ERP platform;
    2. Overseas B2B sales management: B2B sales for the Australia and Mexico trading entities;
    3. Cross-border e-commerce: the U.S. entity on Amazon and Shopify (EDI integration is too expensive), and the Russia Ozon platform (requires direct integration);
    4. Production management for the Mexico factory overseas;
    5. Tax and finance compliance requirements for overseas subsidiaries;

  • Solutions

    1. Built YAT’s overseas group structure using NetSuite OneWorld, with Hong Kong as the overseas holding company, and subsidiaries including the Australia trading company, the Mexico trading company and factory, and the U.S. trading company;
    2. Formed a two-tier architecture between NetSuite and the domestic group’s Digiwin system: NetSuite pulls product master data and the sales price structure from Digiwin, and synchronizes overseas order demand and order execution feedback back to Digiwin;
    3. Replaced the U.S. entity’s EDI with Hitpoint’s WeiYiLian connector to integrate directly with Amazon and Shopify, synchronizing orders and statements; it also integrates directly with Russia’s Ozon platform and third-party warehouses to unify cross-border e-commerce order capture, fulfillment, and inventory management; meanwhile, Hitpoint’s e-commerce A/R solution automatically parses platform statements to enable automated reconciliation and A/R settlement/write-off, as well as automated consolidation of platform fees;
    4. NetSuite’s standard B2B sales processes fully meet YAT’s B2B trading management needs in Australia and Mexico; meanwhile, Hitpoint’s WeiYiLian connector was used to integrate with the Australian third-party warehouse CargoWise, enabling automated third-party warehouse management;
    5. Mexico factory management: using NetSuite’s native Manufacturing module together with Hitpoint’s Manufacturing Enhancement Pack, we enabled integrated manufacturing-and-trading operations for the Mexico factory, including finished goods assemblies and BOMs, work order management, production process control, production cost accounting, and manufacturing overhead allocation;
    6. Overseas tax and finance compliance: NetSuite’s global tax and accounting capabilities fully meet U.S. and Australia compliance requirements; in addition, a local Mexican NetSuite partner’s localization add-on was adopted to support Mexico-specific tax codes, electronic invoicing integration, and localized statutory reporting requirements;

  • Customer Benefits

    1. Hitpoint leveraged NetSuite to build for YAT’s overseas business an end-to-end integrated manufacturing-and-trading operations and management platform with brand-level omnichannel sales;
    2. By using Hitpoint’s self-developed WeiYiLian and other lightweight connectors to replace expensive U.S. services such as EDI, and integrating directly with Ozon and overseas third-party warehouses, YAT significantly reduced its overseas operating costs; meanwhile, leveraging Hitpoint’s comprehensive e-commerce solution suite, YAT achieved refined and automated e-commerce finance management;
    3. In addition, through Hitpoint’s global partner ecosystem, YAT selected a reliable local partner for Mexico tax-and-finance localization, laying the groundwork for the project’s on-time go-live.
